How can we stay on our health track while on vacation??? PART I of 2

FULL DISCLOSURE!!!

This is something that I totally struggle with...that's why I really want to

talk about it!!

Have you ever gone on vacation and just totally derailed all or most of your healthy habits?

Have you ever gone on vacation and brought back more weight than just your luggage?

I am sure most of us are guilty of this...but you don't have to fret when you push that "BOOK" button.

I may just have a couple tools in my toolbox that I am sure will help....

Today in Part I of this two part series, I want to discuss two tools I use to keep doing my WORKOUTS and in Part II we will discuss some NUTRITION tools I use:

TRICK #1: This one is my fav!!! Always start with a great morning routine!! No matter where you are in the world, try to stick with that!!

For example, if you always make time to have a shower and brush your teeth before heading out the door, try adding say 30 minutes to that morning routine to squeeze in a yoga session or quick HIIT routine. This doesn't have to be super grueling, just do something! Once you tack on this YOU time to your morning routine, you won't even realize you've done your workout for the day!

***ARE YOU READY FOR THE BONUS??***

If you do a workout in the morning, the chances of you making poor food choices that day is less since you did something so good for your body, earlier on in your day.

TRICK #2: If mornings aren't your thing (totally get it!!) , just try scheduling your workout time into your day.... IN ADVANCE!!!

Before you go to bed, take a look at your next day and block some time to move that body!!

Say for instance, you are booked for a sight seeing tour for 9am-12pm and then you are looking forward to spending some time eating lunch and then maybe some shopping, why don't you take 30 minutes to an hour before supper time to squeeze in a workout?

Maybe you don't have as much time as you would like, but even a quick body weight workout in your hotel room will suffice. There are tons of these on Youtube such as the famous "7 Minute Workout" for the really time pressed or a yoga, pilates, HIIT, Tabata workouts, or you can download an app that includes your favourite type of workouts...

Come on!! Who doesn't have 7 minutes to take care of their health?

And hey, you were probably going to shower again before dinner so whatโ€™s your excuse??

I hope I have inspired you to try this the next time you are on vacation? Please feel free to comment below or DM me if you have anything to add or tell me what you do!!
